Blind Faith or Wishful Thinking?

Synopsis

. The world is full of mystery and the history of the world is filled with myths. Unexplainable events and phenomena have been recorded since man first was able to keep track of time. All cultures from around the globe have tales of gods and ghosts or descriptions of heaven and hell. Can events of the past be so easily dismissed by modern times, or is the present just catching up to the technology used by the long lost civilizations of the past? Man has been looking into the skies and heavens for as long as he has known to look up and wonder. Do the leaders of the religious groups truly know what lies in waiting beyond our view, or is this information hidden under piles of red tape and misinformation by the world leaders? Are there alien races hidden within the darkness of outer-space, guiding us to an unknown end?

. Why were there many gods when we had so many questions, and only one God now that we only have one question? We could not explain the sun or moon, so we had gods to justify them. We did not understand floods or earthquakes, so we used gods to make sense of those too. Now in the age when answers are more easily found, one question is still unexplained: "Where did the human race come from?"

. Was this great universe created in a big explosion, or by the touch of a hand? If it was a big explosion, then what exploded in the first place, and where did that matter originate? If this planet and the universe created around it, was the product of a god, where did God come from? In the modern Bible, God uses the words "us" and "our" in different passages, yet it is a Christian concept that there is only one god. Can something come from nothing? This brings us to the age old question, "What came first the chicken or the egg? " Is it one almighty god or an advance group of beings, that our ancestors referred to as gods, because of their incomprehensible abilities they possessed ? Will we ever know?

. All religions have the same basic laws or commandments, thou shall not kill, thou shall not steal, the list goes on. Yet it is still so unbelievable of a thought to so many, that all or most religions could have the same roots or foundations.

. Scientists estimate there are 2 million species of organisms now living on Earth, and it is estimated that more than 99.9 percent of the species that have ever lived are now extinct. If 2 billion species have evolved on Earth during the past 600 million years, who can even guess at how many species have evolved through out the universe.

. The Sumerians believed that man was created by the Anunnaki (gods), to be servants and workers and that man was a genetic mix of the Ape and the Anunnaki, to produce an intelligent, durable worker. The increased number of modern UFO sightings, can be directly corresponding to the Nuclear age, and the first detonation of a nuclear weapon. Could the link to the sightings also be related to the Philadelphia Experiment or space travel?

. There have been three UFO investigation projects launched by the U.S. Air Force (Sign, Grudge, and Blue Book) since the late 1940's. The best anti-UFO campaign ever, was handled by the United States Air Force, and people believed the government was trying to help. Project "Blue Book" as it was called, was nothing more than a dampering tool, used to disprove UFO sighting through any means available. People who thought they had proof of UFOs or had had a sighting, would let these investigators come out, hoping they would prove aliens really existed. Yet the real mission of the inspectors, was to disprove all, and confirm none. How many poor people that might had actually seen something, were made to feel or look foolish? What happened to all the photographs and evidence that was collected throughout all the investigations? How much was lost or just never returned?

. The Judeo-Christian religions allows us to pinpoint, the exact time that man (Adam) was created by God. By following the written word in Genesis we can trace the creation of man from Adam to Noah and tracking the beginning of man until the great flood. The end of the Ice Age, fall of Atlantis, and the Great Flood were all part of the same great event, which took place 12,000 years ago, between 9,600 - 10,600 BC.

. By adding the ages in the family tree of Adam, at the time each man had his son in Noah's lineage, we come up with a total of 1,656 years from the time of creation of Adam, until the destruction of man and the great flood. If the flood occurred around 10,000 BC, then man had to be created in the area of 11,600 BC, or less than 14,000 years ago. Scientists have found proof in every part of the world to indicate that man has been around for far longer than 14,000 years. So many are still able to believe fanatically, in every written word within the ancient book of Genesis and the Old Testament. Despite any proof they are shown.

. Science points to man originating in Africa, but can we totally discount all the stories of a once great civilization? Numerous cultures around the world have tales of a great land and a great race of people that lived there. Some called them giants, some scholars, and few even gods. The fabled continent of Atlantis is referred to in many cultures throughout the world. There are many places that this continent has been said to have existed. One of these places, is stated to be the continent of Antarctica. On an ancient map dated 1513, the coasts of Antarctica are shown in detail. This becomes even more remarkable, since Antarctica was not discovered until three centuries later.

. Does anyone really have all the answers to the mysteries of the past or the vision to foresee the future? By looking at our past we can catch a glimpse of our future.
