The A. Nonymous Gallery has been updated with a couple of new Accessorizing tips, and the long-planned-yet-in-development-limbo-for-months Serpentor and Cobra Commander (found on the G. I. Joe customs page).

The A. Nonymous Gallery has just posted a solution in the brand-new TransFormers Customs & Fixes page telling you how to fix your Henkei! Henkei! Seekers who have the loose shoulders and loose cannons problem. Also, some new images have been posted in A. Nonymous’s “Thank You For Your Custom” rant over in the UNLEASHED! section.

A. Nonymous’s “Thank You For Your Custom” rant over in the UNLEASHED! section has been slightly updated. As he said in the rant, he’s winding down his customising to near nothing for a while because Hasbro keeps trumping his projects. Well, in one of the recent Hasbro Q&As at Bill Cable’s Creature Cantina, the Hasbro hotshots came out and said in response to A. Nonymous’s question that they’ll never, ever, ever produce any “Uzay” tributes or The Rebel Four (amongst other characters and variants). So A. Nonymous got cracking and finished off these long-delayed projects, and they’ve been posted on The A. Nonymous Gallery! Now he’s going to focus on reshooting some of the small, blurry pictures of his customs so you can see them better . . . and some of those have also already been posted on The A. Nonymous Gallery! Just look at anything under the “NEW IMAGES!” section for the updates. He’s also done an update on the new 2008 Tele-Viper (with the promise of an upgraded Serpentor coming soonish) and performed an upgrade on the New Comic 2-Pack Grand Admiral Thrawn that he’d previously performed on the old E.U. Grand Admiral Thrawn. Oh, and now that a certain Comic 2-Pack has been released with a certain super-poseable Falleen crime lord, A. Nonymous has promised that as his last big-noise custom project before he downs tools, you will get by the end of 2008 . . . a super-articulated Horny Xizor in Seduction Gear! And it only took eleven years. Huzzah!

Holy salted krolp on a krusk! I’ve gone and updated the BOUNTY POSTINGS section for the first time in years! And I may very well be posting some more soon. I hope this inspires others to write in and suggest their own bounty postings, as we could do with some more good updates there.

Cripes! It’s 2008 already! Where are our flying cars, moon cities, and personal jetpacks?! Where are all these updates I promised you?! I can’t reassure you on those first three items, but I am working on some updates. For starters, you can look at the new image I’ve got heading up the UNLEASHED! section. I’ve also got a couple new Rodian images put up in The A. Nonymous Gallery. Finally, replacements for those horribly blurry images of the early 2000s are starting to trickle in. I’ve added a couple of items to the COOL QUOTES section, gleaned from various volumes of Spider Robinson’s Callahan books. Also, we’ve seen many of the custom figures posted in The A. Nonymous Gallery superceded and replaced (or are soon about to be) by professionally-produced pieces from Hasbro (with even better articulation and whose paint doesn’t come off so easily), so we’ve been going through the obsolete customs and deleting them to make more space.
It’s rare that I make a whole new second paragraph for these updates, but this time, events warrant it. For the past few months, I’ve been suffering from joint pain in the shoulders, wrists, knuckles, hips, and now, my left elbow, hence the lack of updates, even though we’ve got a backlog of some simple-but-nifty custom figures to post. Well, I’m undergoing some medical tests, but the preliminary prognosis is rheumatoid arthritis. I may one day (perhaps much sooner than I’d like, perhaps even this year) have to give up webmastering this page, but know this: the Ten-Year Annniversary of Beedo Sookcool’s Cool Sci-Fi Page is coming up this September, and I’m determined to last at least that long! Excelsior, and all that crap. Or something. :Þ

Also, The A. Nonymous Gallery has had three updates: the Ultimate Royal Guard, the 501st Legion Commander, and an easy and convenient TIE Fighter upgrade (convenient in the fact that it means you’ll never have to dust the inside of a TIE cockpit again if you opt to perform this customisation).

My recent 6-week trip to the States allowed me to do a lot of toy shopping, because toy shopping in England sucks. End of story. Since 1984 I’ve always wanted a Soundwave, and thanks to the TransFormers: Cybertron line, I’ve got one. Actually, two: the $20 one and the teeny-weeny one. And you know what that means, don’t you? Oh, no! Oh, yes! It means an update to Many Mini-Me Mania!

The Create-A-Commander! contest is now closed. Actually, it has been since 31 July. I just haven’t had the time to post the announcement here on the NEW! page yet because I’ve been off on vacation and I only just got home a couple of days ago. Anyway, all the submissions are in and collated. The winners will be announced soon.
In other news, if you pop over to The A. Nonymous Gallery, you will notice just three things now listed in the New Images section. Nothing will actually strike you as new until you scroll down to the bottom of Custom Clones Galore, though and look at the Clone Wars ARC Gunship Pilot at the bottom of the page. And that’s where the surprise lies. Yes, folks, I got a brand, spanking new, high-resolution digital camera for my birthday, courtesy of a certain Little Sister. I’ve been trying it out, and it works mighty nicely! So look for the A. Nonymous Gallery to be getting some sorely-needed enhancements over the next few months, with pictures you can actually see! Nonymous hasn’t been doing a lot of updates lately, but a spate of time off from work, having to replace a number of his old congealed paints, and finishing up a roll of film means . . . CUSTOM FIGURES UPDATES! And to start the ball rolling while he waits for his film to be developed, he’s added a new tip on his TIPS page ! Watch this space.

Well, it’s not so much “NEW!” as “COMING EVENTUALLY!” (See, I know my limitations, and I’m not going to say “soon” and get your hopes up. Not with my schedule!) Anyway, A. Nonymous was going over his Gallery, taking a look at what blurry digital pics he wanted to reshoot, and realised a fair few of his posted customs have since been eclipsed (or very shortly will be), either by Hasbro themselves or his own upgrades. Just so you know, he wants to take a good long look at his Gallery over the remainder of the year and delete a number of his obsolete customs from the site . . . to make way for more, even better customs! And who knows? If I smack him about the head repeatedly with a blunt metal object often enough, he may finally finish that Horny Xizor in Secuction Gear he’s been promising since 1997!
