Super Tech!!! Here is how FNM went down...
Round 1: Sligh - Some 10 Year Old
OK check this out. No one, and I mean no one, plays mono color decks where I live let alone another T2S deck, I was tripping. I out burned him, out played him, and beat the hell out of him. He did drop a Worldgorger Dragon when I was at 7 though but he was at 5 so I Seizure him and madness a Temper. Record 1-0
Round 2: Counter w/ Guiltfeeder - One of the Good FNM Players
This guy won last week's FNM so I was more serious when I played him but still laughed and carried on about stupid crap like I always do. Game 1 was rough but he couldn’t stop the early creature rush and lost. Game 2 I sided in Price's and Influence and kept a starting hand of 3 mountains, 1 sentry, 1 temper, 1 influence, and a price. I dropped the price to lock him down when I had 3 creatures rushing him and I really don’t mind burning him on my turn :) Record 2-0
Round 3: Wonder Dog - Kellogg
If I haven’t told you before...I HATE WONDER DOG! But the guy playing it is cool, Kellogg he is pretty good for being like 9 and I joke with him all the time. During game 1 he dropped a mongrel and chucked 3 rootwallas at the end of my turn so I hid behind my cards and let my mad dog take the brunt of the attack but I managed to pull out and win game 1 and 2. Record 3-0
Round 4: Birds? - Bird Dude
In this round, Me and Birdman play to decide who wins the tournament. Who would have thought Sligh and a Bird deck make it to the finals with decks like Monascary, Psychatog, Wonder Dog etc. falling short? Well that’s how it went on Friday night and this dude's birds got huge. Game 1, sun tail hawk and second turn Aerie, he played battle screech twice and flashed both of them black making ten 2/2 birdies, but only 2 to block and he didn’t know I had 2 tempers and a violent eruption in my hand and a hell-bent down in play. He died 5th turn game 2. Record 4-0
YAY YAY! Mikey wins tournament and I turn 5 bucks into 10 packs. he he go me. Doug took like 6th I believe, sorry freshness it’s all good, you'll kick their asses next week at Mcdougles he he. Any who, Sligh is my favorite deck ever even if it’s T2 and that’s my 2 cents about it.
