·        Hardware Design: Design input and output interfacing circuits for digital signal processor and microcontroller-based systems

·        Embedded Software: Develop software for monitoring, diagnosis and control of power system apparatus

·        Protective Relay Algorithms: Formulate algorithms to simulate protective relays in microprocessor and DSP-based systems

 

Project::
Intelligent Circuit Breaker Monitor & Controller: Monitor and Control a High Voltage Circuit breaker and offer features such as real time metering, datalogging, communication, line protection and fault diagnosis. My role in the project is as follows:

Hardware: Design of Analog and Discrete Input & Output sections, Motherboard and testing of Printed Circuit Boards

Software: Creating modules for dependent-time Overcurrent and Ground Fault protection of power systems

·     Keen follower of Aviation technology and news, I make it a point to keep track of the latest happenings in the field of aviation.

·     Avid interest in photography: I currently possess three cameras and have clicked over 3000 photographs so far.

·     Sports: Represented my school and junior college in cricket. I also play chess, table-tennis and badminton.

·     Music: I listen to a wide genre of music both classical and modern. I am currently learning to play the guitar.
