These are some of my filk links

Below you will see some of the filk links I like going to Just click on them and enjoy.

A few quick definitions:

Urban Tapestry is a Canadian filk group which does wonderful harmonies. I met them at a ConChord convention in Southern California. They liked hearing me sing (blush).

Xenofilkia is a filk magazine which contains news and lyrics. It comes out 6 times a year. Hey, at $6.00/year if you're in SoCal, it's worth it. You get something like 100 new sets of lyrics a year!

The Filk Faq answers the basic questions about filking. It is now up to date and the link has now been added. It explains a lot lot of stuff about filk and filking, and also lists resources as far as participating and purchasing. Check it out.

Windbourne, as far as I'm concerned, is probably the best group of people in a band I know. It was started over 10 years ago. I'm more than just sort of a groupie to them, as I think of them as some of my best friends (and I don't have a best friend - never have, but hopefully will). The perform in the San Diego area, and sometimes come up to LA. They were one of the reasons I almost moved to San Diego instead of Atlanta. Even though we're miles apart, people, you're always in my heart.

Bernd Felsberger is a filker in Austria who does a lot of glitzy work (I'll admit it). It's really good. I wouldn't mind seeing his stuff sold here in the US, but it's a wee bit difficult. If you want to know why, ask.
