Please remember that the toys pictured on this page are not the only ones that exist in each respective series. They are just the ones that I have in my personal collection. *These toys are NOT for sale!* See trade page for possible trades.

Grip diecast toys are approximately the size of a large Hotwheels car. (Click on above images for boxed views.) They came packaged on a cardboard base inside a plastic bubble. Due to the nature of this packaging, it is uncommon to find a perfect specimen. The toys were originally released under the "Eidai Grip" logo with a slight variation in packaging graphics and color. Consequently, the Eidai toys are a little harder to find and cost a little more. Released under this line were: G1 thru G5, Super Sneider and Red Impulse. There is a rumor that a Turtle King and a custom toy designed for Ken that was not not on the show both exist. These are, however, only rumors.

These are the JUMBO Grip toys. The term "Jumbo" is somewhat misleading. Due to the small nature of the original line, the jumbo grip toys are approximately the size of normal diecast (measuring in at around 5-7 inches long). They came packaged in boxes (with fantastic artwork) and I have been told that all 5 of the team's ships were made. I have only seen 3 of them (G-1, G-4 and Godphoenix). The G-1 has spring-loaded wings and the G-4's "mouth" opens and it shoots missiles. The rhinestones in the G-4's "eyes" are incredible and really set this vehicle out from the pack!

Banso's Plastic Toys made, in my opinion, the nicest of the Gatchaman toys. These are large-scale toys that are considerably bigger than their diecast counterparts. The G-2 Racecar above (left) is friction powered and is approx. 9.5 inches long. The G-4 Helicobuggy toy above (right) is BATTERY OPERATED and measures in at 8 inches long! The Banso toys each came with a 4 inch tall vinyl figure of the team member who piloted the ship. The back of the box shows all 5 vehicles and they look really nice. These are the two that I have been lucky enough to find!

There were some really nice models made of the first series' vehicles by Eidai Grip and Banso. The model to the left is the Eidai Grip G1. The model to the right is the Banso G3 Sonic Car. Both are fantastic reproductions of the team's vehicles and both have AMAZING box art.

Here are some plastic examples of GATCHAMAN II toys by Popy. To the left is one of the full size playsets designed to actually wear and use. This particular set is Joe's Feather Shurikens (complete with suction-cup tips). Several different sets from this specific line exist. Some of them include: infamous "G" utility belt, Bird-saucer disk and Gatchaman helmet (complete with visor) and cape. To the right is a set of Popy-made action figures. Each came with a gun and they all had removable capes and helmets. They are articulated at the head, arms and legs and are standard 3.75" action figure size.
