Stardate 49806.20: The U.S.S. Excelsior is commissioned to the newly promoted captain, Captain Brandon T. Walsh. The Excelsior docked at Earth Station McKinley for crew arrival. Stardate 49806.23: The U.S.S. Excelsior departs for her first mission to explore the Alpha Quadrant from Starbase 001. Most of the Excelsior's crew have been transfered and the Chief Engineer reports that the ship is in tip top performance. The Excelsior departs for her first mission.....to bodly go where no one has gone before.
