Episode II: Attack of the Clones will open on May 16th 2002, from Episode I will return in their roles Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan Mc Gregor), Queen Padme (Natalie Portman), C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), R2-D2 (Kenny Baker), Senator Palpatine (Ian Mc Diarmid), Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson), Shmi Skywalker (Pernilla August), Yoda (Frank Oz).
In the role of the young Anakin Skywalker, an almost unknown actor Hayden Christensen will be for the role. Also stars Christopher Lee, Jimmy Smits, Temuera Robinson and a lot of unknown actors from Australia and New Zealand.
The plot is a little bit like this: Queen Amidala is on a mission and 2 jedi are assigned to protect her: Obi-Wan and his padawan Anakin, in the journey they encounter that a terrible force is trying to take over the galaxy. Also both Amidala and Anakin fall in love much to the dissaproval of Obi-Wan.
This is the teaser poster, which reads "A Jedi shall not know anger, nor hatred, nor love", features both Amidala (with a hairdo similar to her future daughter Leia) and Anakin with a red saber (in the movie he uses a green lightsaber, but this one predicts his final transformation into the dark lord), near the release of the movie we will see a poster featuring the principal characters.
