Gen 13 is by far the ultimate comic ever written. The art work is excellent and the stories are very well written. Unlike most comics the heros in Gen 13 are ordinary young teenagers they think and act just like the average person who reads them. There names are Caitlin Fairchild, Grunge, Free Fall, Rain Maker, and Burnout. Each has there own problem with life and all are rebellious. The comic not only deals with "saving the world" but also with the everyday lives of Teenagers. They all think about partying , sex, and just having fun. They gained there powers through a military experiment and recieved what is called the Gen Factor powers. For more about there individual powers check out the links to the characters.

My favorite issue's are Gen 13 #11 and #12. In this issue the Gen 13 team is working with a group of adult super heroes who have Gen factor powers to save the world but they are captured by an elite military unit that thinks they are the ones who are trying to destroy the earth. In this issue Caitlin Fairchild learns who her father is and meets him for the first time, and then leaves the team to spend time with her father on his boat. She is attacked by a shark and her father kills it with is psonic blast to the brain. Also in this issue you find out about her love for there leader, Mr. Lynch who is almost 30 years older than her. The art work is very good, trust me.
