A CANDLE BURNS FOR MANY REASONS.

Candles are all an extension of ourselves. All elements are brought forth when a candle is lit. When unlit, all elements are present except fire, spirit and will. If undedicated.
The flame of a candle: represents the seat of the soul. The elemental kingdom, salamanders. Each tiny flame houses one.

Wicking: The wicking represents the human potential when unlit. Once lit, the way of transmutation is made possible. Symbolized by the Kundalini. Elemental kingdom is the gnomes when unlit, sylphs and salamanders when lit.
The Candle Holder: represents reality as we percieve it along with all that contains and sustains us here on Mother Gaia. Elemental kingdom, Earth/gnomes.
Halo: The aura or halo around the flame represents divinity achieved, the life hereafter, the transmuted state to the God-self. Elemental Kingdom-all on a spirtual level only.

TIPS ON CANDLES

CANDLES with large flames burn faster. Keep out of drafts When you put the candle out,recenter the wick. To remove wax from container, place in the ice compt. of refrigerator for about 20 min. Take it out and press on the wax, should pop right out.

Candles are only to be used once and discarded or let them burn all the way down. This is true in all magick and rituals. This is also called a virgin candle. The moment a candle is touched by you it picks up your vibrations- good or bad. If reusing one, you could pick up the vibes from the previous spell.

Before a candle is used it should be dressed. This is done by oiling a candle. The first touch of the candle sends vibrations and becomes an extension of the holder. You are charging it with energy from yourself. There is a certain way to do this as well. Start at the North end and oil to the South. . Now, reverse it and start at the South and go upwards.About half way down the candle. When doing a banishing the direction is reversed. Always oil in the same direction. Most candles do come in scents now. I find that making my own is much more effective and practical. Letting my inner self send vibrations, I feel I am enriching the spell. Candles made by you can be made smaller in size and the waste of burning them down or discarding them is not there. Most occult shops and even hobby shops sell sheets of beeswax, wick and in some cases molds. Making small candles was pointed out to me as useful and practical. Rolling small ones can last long enough for the ritual at hand.

2.Blue is for wisdom for inner light and peace

3.Brown is for material gains. Helps with financial gains. Another use is to help find lost items

4.Dark Green is used for guard against greed and jealousy

5.Emerald Green Fertility and love

6.Green is for good luck, money,and revitalizing

7.Gray used in magic as a neutral color

8.Gold signifies solar energy, brings money and luck

9.Indigo puts a halt to situations and people. Deep meditational state when using indigo.

10.Light Blue is used to bring peace to the home Also used for health.

11.Magenta when immediate action is needed this is the color

12.Pink Romance! Affections will come forth! Also a color of femininity and honor.

13.Purple is significant of power and a deep contact with the other world

14.Royal Blue is for laughter and fun. Also the color of loyalty.

15.Red Love! Fertility! Courage and strength and yes, PASSION.

16.Silver Helps remove bad vibes and helps promote better psychic powers

17.White is for cleansing, healing and truth. It is a balance of all the colors. WHEN IN DOUBT-USE WHITE

18.Yellow-Again to bring on the solor energy. To gain the trust and confidence of someone else.
