Welcome To Our Site
Welcome to the home of the Kentucky Network of Colleges and Universities Committed to the Elimination of Drug and Alcohol Abuse.  The purpose of this site is to act as an information clearing house for alcohol and other drug issues, resources, and activities for higher education in Kentucky.

Who We Are
We are a collection of professionals that address alcohol and other drug issues on the campuses including health educators, counselors, faculty, housing staff, community agency professionals, and state agency professionals.  Our campuses range include  small private institutions, technical schools, community colleges, and the large state universities.

Our Goal
Our primary goal is to reduce the use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs and on Kentucky campuses.   Thus reducing the overall harmful effect these drugs have upon our state.

The Grant
The main purpose of the grant project is to reduce high-risk drinking among college students in Kentucky by utilizing a variety of environmental and science-based strategies.  The three main project parts are: to develop or expand campus-community coalitions at all Kentucky colleges and universities to reduce high-risk drinking; to expand and strengthen the statewide coalition; and to reduce misperceptions, barriers, mixed messages and similar items that hinder the reduction of alcohol use.
