INTERNET FRIENDSThe internet is a wonderful place to meet people all over the world. Ever since I got access to the internet, I have found and got to know scores of new people. Of course, not everybody you meet will be a friend. A friend is something special, and there hardly ever is more than one to every 100 aquaintances. If you find one, hold him dear, because friendship is the greatest gift anyone can give you.When you have a friend, it doesn't matter if he or she lives just around the corner or halfway around the globe. The only difference is the amount of time you see each other for a coffee, but the internet has made it possible for people to connect no matter where they are. Also, I think that because of its global nature, the internet is also a friendship-net and a tolerance-net. I have learnt a lot about other countries, customs and mind-sets since I started out as a newbie, and I am learning more each day. When you meet someone on the internet, you don't ask them what color or religion they are, you ask them what hobbies they have and if they want to play a game. All the so-called important things that so many people fight about are just of no importance here. But enough of this banter -- let me introduce some of my internet friends to you:
