Q. What is the name of Dirk's Companion?....Vanessa A. A. I am not sure if I am spelling this right but her name was Ahrodie.

Q. When is the newest Star Wars Movie coming out?....Vanessa A.A. According to www.starwars.com it is set to be released in May of 1999.
Q. I'm an avid Lackey fan and have been so for years. I am very curious as to how you place her work in science fiction. I always thought science fiction illustrated a society with advanced technology - for example, Anne McCaffrey's Rowan series, Star Wars, or Star Trek. Almost none of Lackey's work fits under this description - in fact, it's almost the opposite - a much more rural and almost completely untechnological world. It may be that we have different understandings of the genres, so I would appreciate any comments you would have about this.

A. I actually consider Lackey to be Fantasy. However, if you ever go to a book store and look for her stuff it is often under the Science fiction section. Don't ask me why.
Q. What happens to the gryphons after the Mage Wars books?

A. The gryphons return for the Mage Winds and Mage Storms trilogys. The books after Mage Wars are definately worth reading.
