Morrigan Daxma is as mysterious as she is exotically beautiful. From her towering height over other female humanoids to her scarlet skin and golden eyes, Morrigan's secrets are evident. Though tragically, those secrets are secrets to her as well. She knows nothing of her past, of parents, or of her kind. At a basic glance, she would appear human, except for her height, skin difference and with her eyes being all of one color (no visible pupil or iris). Her toe and fingernails have slight point to them, sharp, and are also golden. Her lips are a soft blue violet. Her voice is beautiful and sing song. Some of her gestures are sharp and darting, she tends to "perch" rather than sit. Her eyes are wide and watchful. Morrigan has amazing abilities that humans do not have, nor any other race know. She is thin, yet curvaceous and womanly. Yet she knows that she is but a child in human years, but not by growth rate. Her bones are hollow and not fully hardened, being cartilage still, leaving them slightly flexible and resistant to harm. Her muscle and sinew are more dense and more tightly woven, making her faster and stronger than normal humanoids. Her instincts are vast and include skills she never really learned. Such as physical combat and acrobatics.
Among Morrigan's gifts, she is strong in the force. The more physical force talents seemingly come easier to her. Things that can heal her, enhancer her physical abilities, ect.
What she does know is that Nalaa the Hutt used her as a slave. Telling her all along that she knew of her family, of her race. She used her and her abilities for theft and scavenging. Her want to know of her history and beginnings was used to keep her in control and obedient. Her natural talents brought much wealth to Nalaa, therefore making Nalaa want to keep her in control longer.
When she finally realized Nalaa knew nothing of her past or would never tell her, she left him with a Jedi. She was taken to the Jedi academy on Yavin 4, where her sensitivity to the force was confirmed, and so her training began. When her time to construct a light saber came, her unique design came from inside her, something she had pictured in its shape for as long as she can remember.
After some study and examination of her, the New Republic has come to the conclusion that she is not only of an unknown species; she is indeed half human as well. Many of her alien traits are bird like in nature, which would account for her hollow bones and bird like mannerisms.
The reality behind her mystery isn't a simple one. Morrigan's mother, Aloar Knijus, is of a species called Avilors, which evolved from birds. She was also force sensitive, but not skilled in its use. The Avilor are simple people with little technology, living in harmony with the world around them, with nature. She was a quiet individual, living on her home planet when a ship crash-landed near her and her peoples' habitat. Her family investigated the crash and found a survivor. A man named Wilham Daxma was working as a spy and assassin and was now stranded on the planet. He accepted his fate and later fell in love with Aloar Knijus and impregnated her. Soon after Morrigan's birth, Nalaa the Hutt's mercenaries tracked him down to the planet. Upon discovery, her father refused to go back to work for Nalaa, though he was indebted a large sum of money for his now destroyed ship. Nalaa then had his lover, with child, abducted along with the Daxma himself. And laying waste to the tree top village they had called home.
It is unknown what has come happened to her mother and father, but Morrigan was separated at birth from them. She grew rapidly and due to the Avilor side of her, she had many of her fathers skills, as well as her mothers, as instincts, passed down thru the alien DNA as genetic knowledge encoded in her genes. Nalaa saw the possibilities in this thing that would only know the past he told her and have many of the talents of her father. As soon as her accelerated aging brought her to about 12, he put her to use.
Eventually on one of her missions, she ran into a Jedi named Phoenix Darkstar. He took her away from Nalaa and to the Jedi academy where she is currently studying to become a Jedi knight.
