My University!

The abreviation CUSLM is short for Centre Universitaire Saint-Louis Maillet, which is the full name of where I am attending classes in the work of my degree. It is part of a larger University (University of Moncton) which has 3 Campus... CUSLM being one, CUS (located in Shippagan) being the smallest of the three and the largest, the main campus located in Moncton.


This is a general view of the university. As you can see, it is quite an old building(The university itself turned 50 (in 1996) so the building is much older.) This particular building is one of the biggest and tallest we have in town so this should give you an idea of where I live;)





This is a more general view of the whole campus and all it's section. Each number represents various area on the grounds.

Legends:
1. This is our "Complexe Sportif" for our regional, it's quite recent and was built for all sorts of activities such as racketball, swimming, badmington, areobics and so forth. The big, round, white thing near it is where the Tennis courts are located.
2. This is the newest addition to the University. It's the science department... more directly the one for forestery major.
3. This is the other section that is just as new as the #2, in it are all the other science department like math, physics and chemistry. It's also where the Universities library is at.
4. This is the Gymnasium, the top section of it is also where the education major department is located.
5. This is the local museum in town with mainly local artist and their work.
6. This is the biggest part of the University. It not only contains most of the classroom and offices for the teachers, but the cafeteria, locker room and so on.
7. This last section is where the dorms are, the section which is further up north is a daycare center.
*NOTE: To the far left, you can see the parking lot of one of our mall(around 10 small shops/stores). And to the far right, you can see the track and field which is shared by the University and the local high school which is less then 5 minutes away.
