Yep, that's what happens when you read comics way too much (it devalues them, but when the stories are so good, who cares?).

Comics have a bad rep as being read only by geeks and kids, but that isn't true. Sometimes, when I wander into the comic shop and see the people in there, I do wonder, but then I realise that none of the comic readers I know are geeks, so it can't be true. The reason comics have such a bad rep is because so few people read them, and those that don't think they're only superheroes. This is far from true: any genre you can find in novels can be found in comics: horror, romance, mystery and detective novels, fiction, even history... In fact, some of the best stuff I have ever read can be found in comic books. Strangers in Paradise, Kabuki, Skeleton Key, Kingdom Come, Sandman... The list goes on.
