Tori Amos was a child piano prodigy. She was brought up in a strictly religious family, and is, to my mind, one of the greatest artists of today. Her music, written herself, is an inspiration, and so many different styles are included in her albums and on her bee-sides, there's something everyone can appreciate. And although she does sound a little like Kate Bush at times, she remains one of my favourite artists; quite an accomplishment for someone who's mostly into heavy/industrial metal!
