Rednecks might not be the only people ever abducted by aliens, but they sure seem to like to talk about it. If you watch any talk show with any consistency, you will eventually find some redneck talking about being abducted by aliens. The theories are, that people from all walks of life have been abducted, but only the attention starved people seem to be the ones willing to talk about it. A PERFECT example of the types of people that come forward and talk about being abducted by aliens is in the movie Independence Day. Then they end up being mocked as a lunatic. I think that most people find someone saying that they have been abducted absolutely ridiculous. I even know that there are people out there that want to be abducted. Yeah, sure I would like to know what's out there, and what aliens look like and everything, but I don't even think that deep down in the darkest regions of my soul would I ever want to be abducted. Think about it. Who knows what they would do to you. You could come back a stir fried piece of dung for all you know. The truth is out there, and it really doesn't need to come snatch me out of bed in the middle of the night and run countless experiments on me for me to believe. I think that aliens are scared and abduct people to see what kind of race we are. I don't blame them for being scared, we tend to be a very violent society who doesn't accept change well at all. After all, we are probably the only people in the universe stupid enough to shoot aliens out of the sky, rather than trying to establish some type of diplomatic relations with them.
