Grew up in Memphis Tennessee. Never once visited Graceland which I hear is not a big loss but one of these days I am going to attend the annual candle light vigil where Elvis worshipers from all over remourn the king on the anniversary of his death some time in August. Just flip throught he channels in mid August. You will probably find plenty of Elvis movies. He has a few songs I like.
I graduated from Kirby high in 1994. Thrilling place. There were atleast 2 or 3 fights a day in the halls. And a year or so after I graduated the assistant principal was indicted on charges of sexual harassment/battery/assult. He's currantly awaiting his 4 trials. It was great watching ER one night and seeing a news spoiler talking about a principal charged with sexual harrassment and seeing the outside of KHS.
I graduated from Union University in Jackson on May 31, 1998. It's a nice little Southern Baptist college. The dorms are apartment like so it is great! I earned a B.S. in social work.
I love science fiction and fantasy. My favorite Author is Anne McCaffrey. I think I read her Pern books once a year.
I am a Probation/parole officer with the state of Tennessee. Yes that's right, a probation/parole officer. I fullly expect to see people i went to school with in my office some day.
I also love music. I love to sing and I have a minimal ability on the piano and guitar. I was a member of Gamma Sigma Chatper of the international women's music fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota My fave music is broadway musicals. Phantom and Les Mis qualify as my faves. Mainstream I like Counting Crows, REM, Indigo Girls, and Jewel, Train, Matchbox 20.
I love the Dallas Cowboys!! I was raised as such, so there should really be no question as to whether i'm just a fair wweather fan. I still like the cowboys if that says anything.
Tv wise... I watch All my Children in the suds category. In prime time... I like Diagnosis Murder, the first 2 seasons of Early Edition, Forever Knight, ER, and Will and Grace, the West Wing, Third Watch, Providence, X-files. My faves of all time are Voltron and St:TNG. OK I'll admit it, I'm a TV junkie.
I also enjoy the X-title comics. X-force is my favorite. I'm eventually going to make an X-Force page. bwhahahaha!! That Cannonball1! wooboy!!
