Throughout his childhood he acquired a taste for fright. A destined haunted house builder, it was Igor in the making. It was not until the year of 1996 that Igor put his plan into action. "I will build a haunted house," he said, "and I will call it Igor's Fright Shack." Looking around though... Igor realized that he didn't have very much area to work with, so he cleaned out his double car garage and stood back to look. "The mausoleum will rest there," he stated, "cemetary over here." Yes, this was the imagination of a young man that would soon be transformed into a fine haunted house. Ideas for the haunted house blossomed and the Fright Shack slowly evolved. The opening year of Igor's Fright Shack was ground breaking progress. Over 400 people scammered to see this new attraction. Igor offered free admission, but accepted donations to benefit the Fayette County Association for the Blind. All together, Igor's Fright Shack raised one hundred dollars. That money would soon written as a check on it's way to benefit the blind, and that day a legend was born. A haunted house that by attracting visitors in turn helped the blind. "This Fright Shack will become a yearly tradition," Igor muttered, "and one day, it will be a business." And so the tale of a young man, his imagination, and his haunted house shall be told, hopefully to inspire others, maybe even to let people know that good really can sprout from evil.
