Khogaotl is the son of Uzoat and Uzo-otl (and therefore an Ozuna), whose realm in the Grey Waste, Khogalitec, is connected to Uzo-otl's throne in Uden by a conduit. It is said to be the visions of sunlight seeping around the base of the throne that keep Khogaotl sane in his macabre task of guarding the dead. His priests are implacable hunters of the undead, who are seen as abominations by the uzos, with the exceptions of the mummified high priests who guard the temple treasuries in Uzopangou.

Khogalitec is a dim, badly-lit jungle infested with serepents and spiders. At the centre stands Khogaotl's throne, under a canopy of trees, in the only shaft of sunlight in the realm. Khogaotl's known proxies include Ragliakti (Px/female uzo/P14/LN), who is known to be able to drive away the undead with a glance.

Kragalitec is an Azina god, one of those who existed on Ambal before the coming of the uzos, and was formerly the dragonish god Kraginestrinor, and is still known to the ancient dragons by that name. He is depicted as a large grey-skinned dragon with a beard and eyes that absorb all light. In the Diezo Wupa he is shown nesting in a forest glade. However, his realm, spireward of Automata, is a large sandstone building with a courtyard, where he sleeps most of the day. His priests believe in knowledge for its own sake and include some of the greatest mathematicians, philosophers, scientists and historians of Ambal. In a cellar beneath the Library is a vault containing the original Diezo Wupa, the holy codex of uzo religion.
