INNER FAITH |
I look at all the years gone bye. My eyes fill with forlorn tears. Lost moments, forgotten sacrifices. |
Arriving at this place of sanctuary, With joy I rise on a plateau of energy. You who vanquished the demons within The dust removed, the lock broken. |
Awaiting the refrain from knowing lips I burn from within while looking intense. Just a sign, any sign of your presence. Yet I know your gone, another lesson over. And I feel empty inside yet fulfilled. |
My wings have carried me to your bright glowbut it is my faith that holds the wax. |
