Thanks for visiting my site on the Internet. I am collecting a listing of Civil War links, which I will post here for all to enjoy. If you have an American Civil War link that is not listed on my site, Please send me the address along with a small description and the category it should be under. I will then add the new links as my busy schedule allows. All the following links worked when I posted them. I had some trouble with a few but after several tries they  worked. If any links are incorrect please let me a know.

I just love going to Civil War battle fields and that's just one of the reason I created this site. Mostly I get to read about the battles, but that's nothing compared to being there. As you listen to the Ranger or car tour tape and walk upon those hallowed fields, you can sometimes imagine the struggle that took place so many years ago. If you have not been to a Civil War park you ought to visit one soon. I have included (on the Menu) a table listing the Civil War sites I have visited. This table will some day contain links to some of the pictures I have taken at Park Sites and Reenactments.

It is essential that we support the preservation of our American Heritage. Not just Civil War History Sites, but other events that made this nation what it is today. Many historical sites have been lost to development, lack of interest, or because it was not widely known about.  The government is just now starting to find ways to make the parks support themselves. We can help by joining organizations such as: The Civil War Trust, Friends of the National Parks at Gettysburg or National Parks and Conservation Association. They help the parks by buying land that should be in the park and then donating it to the parks, or by letting the public know when the government is trying to pass a bill that will help or hurt the parks. I have listed several other groups on my Civil War Associations page.

If anyone has information concerning North Carolina Regiments, especially regiments that contain people from Onslow and Carteret counties please drop me a line. Thanks.
