To comply with the tems of the "Master Agreement"!
To follow the same standards of behavior required of all students of the Milpitas Unified School District.
To complete all assignments by their due date. Failure to turn in two consecutive assignments will result in a mandatory conference with the student, his/her parent/guardian, the teacher, and the administrator, to determine whether Independent Study is the appropriate stratey for the student and/or the possibilty of being placed back into the regular school-of-record classroom.
To notify the Independent study office prior to absence and reschedule the appointment within the week.
To understand Independent Study is an optional alternative mode of instruction in education.
