I am sure that some of the things mentioned in the following poem have also been special to you and have made you...

SMILE

Do you know what makes me smile? The clothes upon the line.
My nose picks up the fragrance, so delicate and fine.

The forget-me- nots, you know the ones? At my Grandma's creek
In April you can find that they've come out to take a peek.

The new mown grass surpasses any Estee Lauder
And watching minnows swimming in the cool and clear creek water

And there are the birds, just stop and listen to the evening thrush
I'm sure that he must be the king of my woodland brush

And kind old Uncle John, who would let me candle eggs
and go with him to call the cows and wait for my short legs

To run off picking Pussy Willows among the bogs in spring
Then off to search for Cattails in fall, such a majestic thing

As on and on through life we go
Don't miss a thing because you never know

Which of these things you see or hear
Will make you smile from ear to ear.
