.....I am a great-great-grandchild of John (?) McCARTHY and Mary (?) KELLY, and am building this webpage using notes and info provided to me by my remaining sister from my father's side of the family.
The McCarthy's and the Kelly's originated from the County of Cork,Ireland. This information was given to us from an old Birth Certificate of our grandfather (William Gregory McCARTHY) sent to us by our aunt (Esther Angie McCARTHY). The KELLY's and the McCARTHY's eventually came to the United States of America (year 1866). Mrs. Catherine Kelly MEADE, our great-great-aunt (sister of our great-great-grandmother) signed the affidavit of our grandfather's certification of birth on Dec. 28,1939, while living in the State of Wisconsin, City of Montreal, County of Iron. This document states that our grandfather was born May 23, 1891, the younger brother of Daniel? McCARTHY. From this information we can begin our journey of relatives for our line of heritage.
