I found this site a few months ago, after I was out of school. It was wonderful, I wished so much that I would have seen and read all this while in school. Extremely helpful, I shared this with a few of my friends. We especially liked the description o the heart and toilet; it takes total sense. Thanks so much for taking your valuable time in helping with education of others.

I am still in the clinical phase, but will be graduating in July of this year. I am a nervous wreck about state boards and my instructor told me about your site. I'm really having a hard time with ABGs and fluid & electrolytes. I didn't find anything in y ur site so far that can help me better understand fluids & electrolytes, but the ABG part helped me alot. If you have any tips for an easy understanding of fluids & electrolytes....drop me a line. Thanks for your time.

I have read lots of "easy" ECG book(s/lets) but this one was really good for the non-medical person. I didn't find the specific quote from my husband's doctor's report, but I learned alot. (The quote was: NSR, old inferior infarct, "lateral precordial T-wave changes," and "some loss of precordial R wave." I gather this 'T-wave, R-wave' stuff has something to do with his frequent extra beat sound?) Even if you don't have time to answer, i 's a good site, thanks!

Having had been out of school for over 13 years, my analyzing patients with heart problems have been next to nil, I've worked mostly in long term care and with the work load it's not easy to review anatomy quickly in my head, as we are always working fast to get the patient to the hospital, and EKG's are either done bye portable means from outside source or when they arrive at the hospital, so we don't have the opportunity to visual them. Also my husband recently has been diagnose with A-Fib and trying to show and explain it to him from my available books is difficult due to the complexity of them, so when i found this site I was thrilled to see it so precise and easy to interprete, and now have saved it in it's own special folder for his viewing and for f ture use,,,,Thanks Keep up the good work

I like the idea of a basic 12 lead refresher that can be brought up at the odd hours. Good examples of 12-leads that are clear. Great idea. HOpe the ABG's turn out well. What about hemodynamics????

Hi! I am a registered Nurse in Singapore. I like to browse on the internet on and off to check out if there are any new development in nursing care to upgrade myself or basically to surf the net. During one of the sessions while I was on the internet I ca e by your website and found it to be very useful as I find the interpretation of EKG does play a major role in the care of patients. As it would help in the early detection cardiovascular changes in any patient which are sometime overlooked by the younger and less experienced doctors. I hope to see more such websites on the net.

I have enjoyed your site on ECG Tutorial I would like a diagram of where the leads are positioned. When I am asked to help perform an ecg (to put the leads on) I feel useless I really would appreciate your input. I will visit your site regularly Thank you for your Great site

This has been so much help to me. Now it isn't such a scary thing when I see all those little squiggly lines running across the screen. Thank you so much for taking the time to create this wonderful site. Hope you win lots of awards. In the 2 yr program, e are not getting to spend a whole lot of time on each unit. Cardiology is definately interesting, but still I need lots of patient contact. Thanks again.....
