1. HOW TO SIGN IN ON THE WEB PAGE
When you first visit www.egroups.com/group/sriamanalumni, you cannot click on any of the links located on the left side of the page. This is because you have to SIGN IN to use the links; the web page needs a username and password for verification and security purposes. We already have a username when we are subscribed to the list, and this is our email addresses. However, we were not given passwords. To overcome this problem, simple go to www.egroups.com/remind and enter your email address, click on Send Email and Egroups will generate an email with the Subject: Lost Password.

In this email, they will assign you a reference number and send you a link for you to enter a new password for your account. When you have already done this, simply enter your email address, password and check on the Remember Me tickbox (if you hate to sign on everytime) and voila! You're officially signed onto http://www.egroups.com/group/sriamanalumni and can browse around.

2. HOW TO READ MESSAGES ON THE WEB PAGE
In case some of you didn't know already, you can choose to read messages generated within this mailing list on the www.egroups.com/group/sriamanalumni web page. I know how some of you may be frustrated with receiving irrelevant email from other members of the list, so I would advise you to visit www.egroups.com/group/sriamanalumni to change the settings on how you would like to read the email messages. Assuming you signed in properly to the website, click on *MEMBERS* (on the left side of the page), locate your email address, and choose which type of method is most convenient for you using the pulldown menu. There are 3 ways you can read messages from list members:

  1. Email (how most of are receiving messages)

  2. Daily digest (this function compiles ALL mail generated during the day and will be emailed to you in compact form)

  3. Web Only/No Mail (some people chose this option because then they won't have their mailboxes filled with too many messages - HIGHLY recommended for people who would rather read messages at their own leisure on the website

3. HOW TO INVITE OTHER SRI AMANIANS TO THE LIST
Someone asked us how she could transfer all of the Sri Amanian email addresses she had in her records so that she could subscribe them to this mailing list. Adding people to the list can only be done by the list owner and moderators. If anyone else would be interested in becoming moderators, please email The List Owner and she will consider your request. If you do not want to become a moderator but would like to subscribe or invite your friends to this list, please send us their email addresses so that we can subscribe them for you. Remember, if any of you or your Sri Amanian friends do not wish to be a part of this list, you or they can always unsubscribe by sending a blank email to SriAmanAlumni-unsubscribe@Egroups.com 24 hours a day. Deletion from the list is automatic after you send that email. You are NOT obligated to stay in this list, but it would be nice to have you.
