EARTH’S CARPETS
Have you ever noticed how often earth’s
carpets change?
At least in this climate, and how great the
colour range?
From diamond studded purity, a carpet of pure
white snow,
To springs bright dandelions that put on such
a great show.
There’s summer’s ever changing patterns, colours
of every hue
Melding into fall’s carpets that always come
smiling through.
Laid in hedgerows and meadows covering the
rocks as well
With all those myriads of carpets earth is a good
place to dwell.
