PROLIFIC
I have been quite prolific on the southern trip,
Words flowed fast and free like warm syrup,
Now a devastating task looms in my active mind,
They have to go on the computer and nine is a bind.
Yet words will not stop, more are in my active brain,
It may be on the way back as busy as when we came,
Theres trying to read the writing, messy as we drive along,
But at least the main idea is down if I get something wrong.
Two more poems are waiting for their turn to be set free,
I am so glad that I have bought a new note pad with me,
For a rest, I look up and more beauty comes to my view,
And then into my storage compartments go poems anew.
