WHAT MAKES A FOREVER FAMILY
As we look around and our good family
we see,
Do we really want them for now and
all eternity?
Is there enough love and kind
togetherness,
Enough charity, enough sweet
thoughtfulness?
Are there words that should have been
left unsaid,
And did we say we were sorry before
going to bed.
Would our Father above give us a nod
and a smile
As we were willing to go that extra
long mile,
Did we always put the other family
members first,
Or did we for greed and selfishness
ever thirst?
What makes a forever family is thinking
every day
Of others first and be good in all you do
and say.
Think of every member of your large
extended y family
Pray that you want them all for now
and eternity.
No one shunned or left out but together
evermore,
Knowing that after death we’ll meet at
heaven’s door.
Strive every moment to be always loving, good
and kind,
And soon it will part of your nature, selfishness
left behind.
Be the kind of person everyone will want to
try and love,
And then you will be ready for an eternal
home above.
