CULPEPPER JOURNALISM FOUNDATION FELLOWSHIP

APPLICATION

The Culpepper Journalism Fellowships are honorariums devoted to high school students in South Florida. The fellowships will help underclassmen attend summer journalism institutes at colleges or universities. Then they will return to their high school and teach/share with their classmates what they have learned. The CJF was established in honor of Alyce Culpepper, the first journalism teacher at South Plantation High School, who began the award-winning newspaper, yearbook, literary magazine and television programs at the school.

There are five parts to the application process: Application, Essays, Activity list, Teacher Recommendation, and Work Samples. Please type all information. You can download and print the below application which is available as a pdf document, and you must MAIL it to the CJF. A photograph must be attached to this application for publication purposes only.

The completed application must be postmarked by April 1, 2008 and mailed to: CJF, 100 S.W. 75th Terrace, Plantation, Florida 33317.
