My Lyrics

"Songwriting is poetry set to music." That's what Garth Brooks said one time, and it's something I immediately took to heart. Poetry writing has been a passion of mine ever since we were taught how to put them together in elementary school. Many years have passed, and now I'm trying to find ways to turn that passion to songwriting, with the hopes of getting a song written, recorded and released by a singer. Here are some of my lyric writing attempts, I hope you enjoy them. Feedback is welcome!
