| Does the Government Want us to Practice
Y2K Survival? Some wonder if the monumental computer problem causing the Y2K crisis was planned, or merely an accident or oversight. If the Y2K crisis was planned, both "visualization" and "capability" would have been been required." Obviously our government "visualizes" the day when they have absolute control over the masses, with none of our personal freedoms remaining. So, did the government ("visible" or "secret government") have sufficient "capability" to have exerted meaningful influence over programmer's actions back in the early days of computers? Probably not - it is doubtful that the "bungling bureaucracy" would have been capable of such a feat. Could the "secret government" been capable of of doing such a conspiratorial thing? Maybe, but even this is doubtful. This question will likely never be fully answered to everyone's satisfaction. There is a sufficient technical explanation regarding date fields, computer memory and storage, without having to delve into a possible conspiracy. Regardless of how it came about, there is nothing presently standing in our way of knowing about Y2K, fully understanding it, and preparing in a timely fashion to mitigate the major effects of Y2K on our lives. Would the federal government be opportunistic enough to recognize the Y2K scenario as a vehicle to carry out their "visualization." Yes, they could saddle this "Y2K pony" to do their bidding. They didn't even have to go looking for it. It just wandered up to their doorstep one day. How convenient. Yes, there are indications that the federal government and the global elite plan to use the coming emergency to usher in a new and almost unheralded Big Brother computer control network. The George Orwell's 1984 and the Stalin-Hitler fantasies of totalitarian control are about to be realized if they have their way. Is there is any viable opposition to this, and if so what is it? There seems to be little opposition to the federal government having their way in our lives. An informed and caring populace could do a lot to stem the tide. Unfortunately the American people have shown themselves to be totally incapable, powerless and impotent to prevent the federal and world government from doing whatever they desire to do as long as the economy seems strong. Doesn't this sound a little like prostitution: "see to it that I have all my entitlements, I will be your slave, and you can do anything with me you want to - I do not value freedom, only security." The Y2K situation can be grown, nurtured and utilized to become an "emergency." It would not have to have been an emergency, but it will be if the government has its way. If Y2K can be parlayed is a "national security emergency," then the government can do all sorts of things to their (but not to our) advantage. The Preamble of EO 12656, in Section 101(a) defines a "national security emergency" as:
It is rumored that the US armed forces are secretly preparing for a declaration of martial law and military operations against the American populace. It is not well known, but the government presently has in place a stack of Executive Orders that could be implemented on a moment's notice to give the President of the United States absolute dictatorial powers over our nation when an emergency condition of sufficient magnitude arises. This is not a secret any longer - it is an absolute fact, just as much as government concentration camps being in existence, ready for some sort of use. Even Sen. Bennett (who is one of the "good guys" in the government, relatively speaking) is seeking assurances from the Pentagon that the U.S. military will be ready to respond if martial law is declared on or about Jan. 1, 2000, as millions of 20th century computer chips misfire because they do not recognize the dawning of a new millennium. These Executive Orders effectively empower the President to nationalize (and thus, control) all businesses and even some personal property. Congress has no role in the declaration itself nor is it necessary for them to give approval. After six months, they may review the action. Could Y2K be the needed "national security emergency?" Yes it could, especially if the populace is held in denial long enough to build up sufficient pressure which could then be incited into a bull blown panic. Panic is a powerful force and could be self-energizing out of fear of expected future events but will also be fueled by the power of actual Y2K events behind it. It is also a fact that the US armed forces (also Canadian, UK and some world government) forces are preparing for a declaration of martial law. What about the words "against the American populace?" It will be stated that this will be for our good, just like all of the other laws in place which enslave us. Does this enslavement sound like good news? Not to me. Will there be a declaration of a national security emergency in the United States? Well, Congress has certainly sent an encouraging message, our neighbors to the north and the UK have been most forthcoming about their plans. Much more specific Y2K information is available regarding what Canada, Australia and the UK that for the US. The chances are very high the same will be done here. The "spooks" in the basement of the Pentagon are no doubt well along in their plans for a mobilization of our own troops in preparation for Y2K riots and disturbances. Will the plans be made public? Probably not. It seems to be the policy of the Clinton Administration to keep the lid on Y2K to prevent panic. There is little doubt that the Y2K emergency will be maximally utilized to usher in Big Brother control. Anyone plugged into real news (excluding the major media), can see that this is rapidly happening at ever increasing rate. There is no detectable or significant opposition to the ushering in of Big Brother control. The uninformed masses are already falling all over themselves, more than willing to give up freedoms over various contrived issues (or appropriated issues) for greater governmental protection. They are being herded like cattle. The statement has been made that "insiders are confident that the billions of panicking people around the world will actually demand that this new system of dictatorial government be established. The masses will cry out for leaders to insure the public safety and rescue the disastrously failed and bankrupt global economy." Is the government and the media actually of manipulating the people to that degree? The answer is that this very thing is being done now, and is being done very effectively. The first part of underplaying and letting the pressure build is being pulled off quite well by the government in concert with the media. Will the second part happen - "billions of panicking people around the world?" Probably it will happen. Will the masses cry out for leaders to insure public safety and to rescue the disastrously failed and bankrupt global economy? Probably they will. Presently, not everyone is in panic. Currently the majority of people are either totally ignorant of the Y2K problem or are in denial. If the government is trying to manipulate the masses to panic, what is their strategy? It is already obvious that they are withholding and under-reporting Y2K problems and information. What little token reporting there is, is very upbeat, with the reassuring message there are no significant problems and everything is fully under control. "Trust us - do not be alarmed - take no action." The purpose is to contain public panic for the time being which satisfies three purposes: 1) The calmed and docile masses are easily controlled and will make no demands; 2) The inevitable panic is contained, letting pressure build to create greater panic later (which can be utilized for control purposes); 3) Prevent personal survival preparation (creating dependency). The masses will not prepare now, because they see no need to. They are living their lives and going about their daily tasks per usual with no knowledge of or though about the looming Y2K danger. Later when full panic is incited, there will be no time to prepare. The government is planning to make the most of the chaos. After 30 years of fostering greater and greater dependency on government for everything from medical services to food stamps, officials will be admitting they are going to be helpless to maintain at least some mission critical services. Survival items will become increasingly unavailable and prices will sky rocket. Most people will plunge headlong into the Y2K emergency totally unprepared, having no self sufficiency and will be fully dependent upon the government which first lulled them into complacency, then later capitalized upon the panic which they themselves help incite. The masses can now only lean upon Big Brother and are willing to do whatever Big Brother says, surrendering still more freedoms (not too many left) for protection and provisions. If all of the above is consistent and true, then wouldn't the rumor also be true that "government bureaucrats privy to this knowledge are secretly acquiring and hoarding dry food and other supplies and are setting up emergency command centers deep underground." We know that the government has had emergency command centers deep underground. To what extent this is taking place, I don't know. My guess is that it probably is true. It would be kind of incredible if it weren't true. Then what about "secretly acquiring and hoarding dry food and other supplies?" It surely does sound credible, doesn't it. What good would it be to have all the underground command centers if they didn't have emergency supplies of food. If there are underground facilities, this implies that the government is preparing for an emergency. During an emergency, obviously there would not be the usual available food and supplies, so it would have to be survival type food and supplies. So then the government is presently telling us both directly and indirectly that there is nothing very bad to be expected from Y2K and that there is no reason for any of us to prepare or to stockpile food and supplies. All the while they give every indication by their own actions that they do expect bad happenings from Y2K; they do expect a disaster and are making their own survival preparations. Do you see any inconsistencies here? Does this give you the feeling that we are being manipulated like cattle? Does this give you a good feeling about things? The government surely knows that eventually all will know there really is a Y2K problem. So then the Y2K problem becomes real after all, but never fear, they have the solution. Someone has said "Satan's greatest ruse is to first create a problem, and then offer the solution; the poison is not so much in the problem as it is in the solution." Even if you do not believe in conspiracies, can you see a pattern here? Would it not be better to begin to understand the situation and take charge of your own life and prepare? If the government is expecting the strong possibility of a Y2K disaster, shouldn't you learn from their example (as opposed to what they are telling you), that you too should prepare? As to the governments survival preparation, is it for their own survival or yours? Are you counting big on the government providing your food like another entitlement? Maybe they will, maybe they won't. Wouldn't you say that their needs will be supplied first? The troops will probably be reasonably well fed. But what of your needs? Will they really be met or should you be thinking about taking care of your own needs now, while there is still (barely) time? If there is an abundance of food for all of us, wouldn't this be a good method of exercising control over the masses, by being able to pass judgement over who is worthy of having food and who is not? Perhaps this is another reason as to why we are being advised to not store, stockpile or hoard food. They way this is usually stated, it casts aspersions against preparation as if it were almost criminal in nature. If we are taking our personal survival matters into our own hands, are we not in effect removing ourselves from a certain amount of potential governmental control? This could be a source of displeasure if their intent is to have absolute control over us. Some may be offended by the above statements and conclusions from the standpoint of it being extremely obvious. A lot of reasonably intelligent people just hate to hear, and are extremely bored by statements of the obvious. They will say, "I know all of this; tell me something new. My answer (and question) would be, "if all of this is so obvious to so many, why is the majority of people so much in denial about Y2K and not preparing for it?" The average public behavior and attitude seems to indicate that to majority, these things are not obvious at all. Does the government want us to practice Y2K Survival? It seems as if they do not. They would have us to believe that it is not necessary; yet there are indications the the government is doing a lot behind the scenes relating to survival preparation and contingency planning. Are they saying, "don't do as I do, but rather do as I say?" Yet, there are individual exceptions. The man regarded as the most knowledgeable person in the U.S. Senate on the impact of the Y2K millennium bug says people should begin stockpiling food, water, prepare for major crises in the health-care and banking systems as well as civil unrest triggered by the government's failure to send out welfare checks. "Pay attention to the things that are vulnerable in your life and make contingency plans," says Sen. Robert Bennett, R-UT and chairman of the Special Committee on the Year 2000 Technology Problem. But don't panic, he adds. "Civilization as we know it will not end." Why isn't this warning on the front page of every newspaper in America? Why isn't it leading the network news? Why aren't the nation's most prominent civil libertarians acting to head off the imminent government power grab that will inevitably follow what Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich has described "the biggest train wreck in history"? These are now rhetorical questions which have already been answered - yes, the federal government and the global elite do plan to use the coming emergency to usher in a new and almost unheralded Big Brother computer control network and that George Orwell's 1984 and the Stalin-Hitler fantasies of totalitarian control are about to be realized. It's going to be a clamorous wake-up call to the uninformed masses who really thought the government was their Mommy and their Daddy (now Big Brother) -- that it would always be there to take care of them. People will not know what to do. Having been provided for like spoiled children for so long, they are going to act like spoiled children denied for the first time. What do you suppose will happen? Can you imagine what every major city in America will be like the first time welfare checks don't arrive. Picture inner city hospitals turning away people by the hundreds, banks locking their doors, ATM machines inoperative, automobiles not starting, no heat on cold wintry nights, barren supermarket shelves and potable water scarce. Add to this sporadic power failures, telephone service disruptions and shutdowns of major airline flights. Don't bother dialing 911 when the angry mobs head for your door. It won't be working. The police will be plenty busy with other emergency calls, anyway. This is not even a worst-case scenario. The worst case scenario is the end of civilization as we know it. Bennett is making an optimistic projection that civilization as we know it is not going to end. But listen to the way Bennett completed that thought: "But if it were this weekend, it would." It would appear that Bennett, like President Clinton is expecting a miracle between now and Dec. 31, 1999. The truth is that Clinton has set an unrealistic goal of making government Y2K-compliant by March of next year -- eight months from now. It's not going to happen. It won't happen in 17 months, either. I believe our government also knows that it won't happen, don't you? This governmental Y2K-compliance is a "cover story" to the masses who will continue to be deceived till too late concerning the reality of the Y2K problem. The government does have a real plan, however. There's a hint of it revealed in what officials have permitted the people to know about Presidential Decision Directive 63. The actual directive is classified, but a white paper has been released for public consumption, which says: the military, the intelligence agencies, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and state and local police are all working together to ensure that during this period of planned chaos the government will survive. Whoopee. Government officials -- Republicans and Democrats alike -- see the potential Y2K cataclysm as the opportunity (among many other things as well): to smoke out all those pesky gun owners, confiscate lots of property, hijack the means of production and finally create government dependency among by those stubborn advocates of self-reliance and individual freedom who will now be at the mercy of the programmed mob. If none of this comes to pass (i.e. Big Brother computer control network, declaration of martial law, etc.), it is not because the "intent and desire" is not there on the part of the federal government. It is there, has always been there and will remain. What is needed is for the masses to wake up to the constant danger they are in and how they are at constant risk of losing their freedoms. Once in a great while, something goes right, because the evil "intent and desire" is brought to light and things are set right. A recent example of this is:
This example is provided to illustrate the unrelenting evil "intent and desire" of our president, the topmost leader of our nation. This is but one of many examples, that the good of the ignorant masses is not foremost in the thinking of our leaders. Does it really sound so incredible that Y2K could be used for political means to accomplish things that are not in our best interests? Does it sound so incredible that Y2K is being deliberately under-reported and being swept under the rug, for political purposes? Does it begin to make sense that each of us should wake up and take responsibility for ourselves and our families and prepare for Y2K? Those who continue to be lulled into complacency by our leaders are playing right into the hands of those who would enslave them. Do you really want to entrust your very lives to those that would deceive you, regarding Y2K (or any of the many other issues for that matter)? Will you continue to believe there is no Y2K problem? Then, how about this one? The mainline media (for the most part) continues to ignore, suppress, or minimize the Y2K story, just as they have ignored the Clinton scandals over the past five years. Isn't it interesting that Bill Clinton, who has every reason to talk about and rally the American people around a Y2K than to divert compliance crusade (if for no other reason attention away from his Monica Lewinsky affair) has remained virtually silent on Y2K? Could it be that he and his comrades would like to keep the public asleep as long as possible, and then, when public panic ensues, declare a State of National Emergency? So, does the government want each of us to be responsibly informed, taking charge of our own lives and practice Y2K survival? No, I don't think so.
