Anime Ogrokh

Crikey, eh? No, but I mean...crikey, eh?

I’ve always thought that the Orcs! characters would work well in animation, but I’d always imagined them – if this doesn’t sound incongruously twee – in a more Disney-esque style. But thanks to Kazuma, incomparable illustrator of minotaurs, monsters and other fab characters, we can now see what Ogrokh would look like in the style of a Japanese anime movie. And...well...crikey, eh?

This is, without a doubt, the single most imposing picture of everyone’s favourite ale-guzzling orc in the history of the world. Kazuma’s command of line and facial expressions is second to none, and just look at that colouring! This is probably how Ogrokh imagines he looks when he’s trying to chat up the ladies.
