Bonus Questions

The following two questions have absoultely no afiliation with IFD, but since you are at it, you might as well take a short break and take a shot at these IQ questions, gauranteed to crack your noggins...


Bonus Question 1) There are two ropes with different length and made of different material. Each rope burns at a different rate for different parts of the rope, for example, it may take 5 min to burn through 10% of the rope but 10 min to burn the next 5% of the rope. However, they share one similarity, that is both ropes take exactly an hour to burn from one end to another.

The Question: How will you be able to calculate when 45 minutes have elapsed using only these 2 ropes and some matches, used solely for lighting a fire?

Bonus Question 2) Prove that 9 when divided by 2 is 4!
