On one Saturday evening during the Spring of 98, Doug called me and asked me if I wanted to go to the stock car races with him and his family.  I was working on the back room and initially told him no thanks, that I still hadn't finished working for the day.  I got off the phone and thought about if for a few minutes and called him back.  I told him I would go if I had enough time to pick my tools up and take a shower.  He told me sure.  So, We went.

It just so happended that they were having a drawing for a nascar trip.  They drew a ticket stub and called out the number.  It was Mine!  I won a trip to Charlotte North Carolina.  It was over a $2000 dollar package.  Doug and I went, we had a great time.  That is where this pic was taken.

The following Spring of 99, Doug and I drove to Dallas and went to the nascar races there.   This pic was taken at the Texas Motor Speedway.  We had a good time there too.
