To make Tempura, we mix water and wheat flour. Chief materials are prawn, nasu, rencon, peeman, sweet potato etc. It is often eaten in dinner. It is better to eat it hot. We eat it with Japanese radish. It was used in tendon or tempura undo etc.

Sushi is very good. Sushi has many kinds. Sushi is eaten by many people. In all the sushi, the most costly is Toro. Toro is sliced tuna. Toro is the fat part of tuna. Sushi is made of rice and fish.

Japanese people eat special meal on New Year's Day. We call it "Osechi". We cook traditional food. The food made us happy for a year because old people hand down their happiness. These food are delicious.

In Japan, children receive money at New Year. Children receive money from family and relatives. Money is put in a small envelop. Elementary school students receive about one thousand yen. Junior high school students receive about five thousand yen. High school students receive about two million yen. College students and adult don't receive money, but they have to give money. Adults become bitter because they have to give a lot of money.
