Okay, Lovelorn, here's my advice:
First of all, guys adore attention, so the best flirt tactic is simply to look them straight in the eye and smile. A little compliment, like "What a nice shirt," can really go a long way, too! Strike up a conversation using your strengths: if you're funny, tell a joke. Guys love a bold girl. Show interest in what he has to say and shoot back some ideas of your own. Keep your body language friendly -- don't cross your arms, and maybe touch his arm lightly as you talk. Remeber, this is the year 2000, and if you want a boyfriend, don't be afraid to ask someone out yourself.

Heidi,
I need some help right now. I am a friendly girl and have a very positive attitude, but I haven't had a boyfriend in... well, let's just say a long time. I'm not very good at flirting -- could this be the problem? I know this is a problem many teenagers face, but it really sucks. Please give me some guy-grabbing advice.
