This website was created to better communicate with students and parents. We all have a common goal of providing our students with a first-rate education. I believe that awareness of what is happening in the classroom is an effective means to achieve our goal. Students and parents should be able to access information about classroom policies and homework at any time so that we may all work together to address any issues that may arise in a timely manner.

The Great Teacher Debate

What makes a great teacher? A great teacher is friendly and knows her students personally. A great teacher challenges students intellectually, and gives lots of meaningful homework. A great teacher is lenient; she'll let her students do whatever they want. A great teacher is understanding; she'll give extensions on projects and assignments. A great teacher lives her life for the subject she teaches and is an expert. A great teacher keeps parents involved and aware of their childrens' education. A great teacher is fun; she always has different, creative activities and assignments. A great teacher lets students make decisions in the class: from assignments to lessons.
