Riddle Me This

The below is an assortment of riddles, general enigmas, and questions that would be found on severely difficult I.Q. tests. The I.Q. test type questions would only be for those trying to exact an extremely high quotient. You may need to know certain pieces of useless esoteric knowledge, and the questions may be unreasonably difficult. However each question only has one answer, and there are no partial answers.

If you want to test your higher functioning abstract thinking you've found the right spot. If you think you can derive the answers for any of these questions, E-mail me.

This is one place where you're ego is very likely to scar because, for all intents and purposes, it's pitted against mine. Almost no one can survive a bought against anything that gargantuan.

To submit an answer to any of these riddles, click on the answers button to the left, the large print at the end of page, or here.

I once had a lengthy conversation with a man on an airplane. It turned out that he sold globes for a living. He handed me his most popular model and I was a little taken back. It was mounted with the North Pole on the bottom, and all the names of the countries were flipped so that they would be read normally from this vantage. I asked him if there was some sort of mistake. He said no. His entire line of globes of the Earth sold like that. Later I learned he wasn't just trying to confuse me. What is the explanation for such an unorthodox globe?
