Tuesday
We went to Physical Education today. We watched a video about trees. There were lots of big machines. We saw a skidder, a de-barker, a bucket loader, and a cherry-picker. We saw trees being made into lumber at a sawmill. they used the bark and the sawdust too. We had math stations and practiced writing the time. We learned about digital and analog clocks. We read a book about animals who live in trees.
Monday

Wednesday
Today, Mrs. Rose came to visit. She read a book about a porcupine that wanted a hug. We will be talking about good and bad touches in the next few weeks. Mrs. Berthiaume's friend, Heidi, came to read us a story about Spring. We made green collages. Heidi is learning how to be a teacher. We observed our bean seeds and drew pictures. We practiced telling time.
Thursday
Today we went to Physical Education. Jordan shared an ABC book that she made about her trip to Florida. We worked on puzzles using the numerals 1-100. We practiced counting by 10's. We made sentences about trees. We practiced writing time on white boards during math stations. We put price tags on all of our "groceries" in our store.
There will be no kindergarten on Monday, April 17 due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.
