A single mind--A simple ray of light
Strong enough to define itself--But incapable of life
Like a single flower--Alone it cannot thrive
Roots need water; leaves need air:
To sustain a grounding all must share
It's this 'one'
The one that's not divided
The 'I' composed of separate parts
That is the same
The one to which all things belong
It unifies what should be wrong
Distinctions are illusory
A single star--A stream of endless falls
Each ray comes from a different mind
Yet the light belongs to ALL
A million questions--Never meant to be
Lost in mysteries deemed unfair
But there's solace in this star we share
Look inside and nourish your compassion
To grow and cultivate the means
Of making others recognize
They have the same inside:
The light, the star, the power
The more intensity it gains
The greater chance we'll have
OF BURNING OFF OUR CHAINS!!!
