Lost in the Mystery

Written by M.J.C.

'Imagination is more important than Knowledge'

-Albert Einstein,1926

I could never imagine knowing all there is to know
Knowing all there is about you
Would spoil life and sympathies untold
And if I could always know what lies behind your smile
I would never keep my mind
I'd rather be erased and die

If the universe revealed to me
All the secrets of life to the farthest infinity
I'd use my new powers that be
To forget all I'd learned and return with you
To the Mystery

I could never imagine living life with no more dreams
Having no imagination, expectation, reverie,
And no surprise
And if I ever saw the sun rise, without white lies
I'd put a knife to wrist and die

If I had the chance to crawl inside
Tear it all apart, to (de)file and analyze
I'd trade it in for the unity
Of your soul with mine in the smallest part
Of the Mystery
Let's get lost in the Mystery

If you suffer for everything
Than everything will suffer

Even if I told you there was nothing
Even if I told you that the universe was gone
Even if I told you that forever
Was just a product of one 'man's' imagination, erudition,
Our love would go on
