Throughout the adversities of life
we are here to learn
Of which I have learned much
Having gone "out on a limb" and
making the giant leap
The climb back up has been steep
Journeying through aloneness and sorrow
Facing most fears straight on
Has enabled me to bring forth new courage
wisdom and faith to face tomorrow
Only now can I acknowledge the starving
part of me was my inner child
and coyote longing to be whole
I want to remain totally intimate
with all that I am.

ALREADY KNOW

I looked up and saw two seagulls fly by
One informed me of my solemn plight
He said, "You will soon know why
As you begin to feel your life turn right"
Then the other said, "to take control now is to be free and fly"
They both informed me to go and experience all I had learned
I was to take a journey high up in the open sky
Ultimately to receive the love I had so long yearned
Off they flew saying: "Do not fear, let yourself go
For within you, you already know."
