John S. Kearins m Mary Toland on July 28, 1840 Mary b 5/15/1819 d April 12, 1878 James b 4/11/1819 in VA. d 9/10/1871 in Scioto County, Ohio

Their son, James b 5/26/1847 Jackson CO., Ohio d 1/05/1909 at Granada, CO. He m Drusilla/Druzilla Crabtree on 10/31/1869 Drusilla/Druzilla was b 8/21/1848 in VA d 8/21/1924 at Granada, CO.

Their dau, Minnie m Charles Grant Smeltz on 09/07/1896 in Granada, CO. Minnie b 11/26/1878 d 4/26/1917 at La Junta, CO, buried Lamar, CO. Charles Grant Smeltz b 4/4/1872 in Carrollton, Ohio d 10/12/1958 in Calif.
