Dear Parents,

It's off to another busy year at Miller School.  On September 15, the children had their annual Back to School Barbecue lunch sponsored by the PTA. We also had our Fall Book Sale, which the children always enjoy.  Halloween Bingo was a great success.  It was fun seeing the children and their parents in their costumes.  Then we had the hot dog and bagel sales during the early dismissal conference days.

The Gold C fund-raiser was a great success, and all the students of Miller will benefit from the funds raised.  This year we also offered for sale high quality Russell T-shirts, sweatshirts, and sweatpants with the Miller School logo and colors.  We are expecting delivery sometime after Thanksgiving break and will send a flyer home when they arrive.  We look forward to seeing our Miller students dressed  in the school colors!

We would like to thank all the parents who volunteered their time to run these events and to those who supported the PTA in other ways.  As always, we need the support of the parents in order to provide these events for our children.  We know that it is not possible for every  parent to give of his or her time.  However, we are asking for your help by joining the PTA.
Sending in your membership dues benefits all the children of Miller School.  If you have not already done so, please join today.

The talent Show will be held on April 14, 2000.  Practices will begin in December.  More information will be sent home via flyer.

General Mills is running a special  "BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION" program.  Please have your child bring in any specially marked boxtops from General Mills or Betty Crocker cereal, cake or fruit snack boxes.  THANKS!      We are also collecting Snapple Caps
