ABOUT ME

I am a perpetual student, learning as much about the world and people  as I can.  I hope to retire in the next ten years and then spend time doing the things I like best: Art - ceramics and graphics, Travel - any type be it a day trip to some near-by attraction or a two week jaunt across the world, Education - continuing to broaden my horizons and Gardening - If I have ten acres or only a window box, I love to watch my flowers grow!

I have received several awards and scholarships, held an elected office, met the Governors of three states and worked for the United Nations.  My residences have been in four different states and two foreign countries.  I have run my own business and worked for one of the smallest as well as one of the largest governmental units in the world.  Some strange things I have done: spend Halloween in a Transylvanian graveyard and ride an elephant during a circus performance.

Thomas Jefferson is one of my personal heroes and his vast accomplishments never cease to amaze me.

My greatest and most rewarding life achievement has been raising two sons and now admiring my first grandchild.
