Bangabandhu. Bangalee. Bangladesh. The land is as intriguing as the curves and intersections of the rivers it carries in its heart. The accumulation of the Bangalee dream was fulfilled with the rise and maturation of 'Bangabandhu' Shiekh Mujibur Rahman and the emergence of Bangladesh as a new country under his leadership. The path was nothing new. It did not happen overnight.

In one hand, we have patriots and martyrs like Nebab Shiraz-ud-Doula, Titumeer, Khudi Ram, Profulla Chaki, Priti Lata, Surja Sen, 'Deshbondhu' Chitta Ranjan Datta, 'Netaji' Subash Bose, Sher-e-Bangla A.K. Fazlul Haque, Hossain Shahid Suhrawardi, Mawlana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani, 'Bangabandhu' Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On the other hand, we have traitors who sold the country and its values to oursiders like Mir Jafar, Jagat Shet, Raz Vallab, Ray Durlav, Ghoseti Begum, Khaja Nazim Uddin, Monayem Khan, Golam Azam, Khondoker Mushtak, General Zia, General Ershad, etc.

The motherland many of us left haunts us in our lonely moments. I spend those spare time to do something for the country. This is another one of my effort to present a few pictures from Bangladesh.

Some of the events pictures were taken from Ittefaq and Janakantha online. I read them regularly.
