Got the my EAD card from Cherry Hill then we proceeded to Cherry Hill Social Security Office where I was advised that the SS card will come in mail within 10 days.

Two (2) envelopes from the INS Cherry Hill in mail. First is the Appointment letter for Fingerprinting scheduled on August 09, 2001 at Philadelphia and the second envelope contains our Adjustment of Status Interview schedule on August 18, 2001 at Cherry Hill.

Went to Philadelphia 8th street for fingerprinting. It only took 3 minutes for the computerized fingerprinting.You must bring the appointment letter and a valid ID.

Adjustment of Status APPROVED! But no immediate stamp, until you get the approval letter in mail then go back in for your stamp argh! Interview details coming soon! (no time... no time... too busy lol argh!).

Finally the Approval letter in mail...Delays are due to the INS closed after the WTC Disaster. The letter states that I have to go back to Cherry Hill INS for my green card stamp and will receive green card in mail.

Two awesome weeks vacation to the Philippines!!! I will be adding more useful informations about our AOS interview and my flight to the Philippines using Advance Parole ( I used AP because my flight schedule was the 12th so I don't have my permanent resident stamp yet.)
